GRAU Data Storage has been a specialist in archiving and storage solutions for many years. The company is focused on providing scalable and flexible software solutions in the area of Hierarchical Storage Management (HSM) and data management in the network.

The company was founded in 1990 by Herbert Grau and Ulrich Lechner. Beside the development of Magnetic Tape Library Systems the emphasis today is based on HSM software for Windows and Linux operating systems.

GRAU Data Storage’s latest unique offering is the INFINISTORE® ArchiveFiler, a two-media system solution which combines fast access of disk drives and security of tapes in one system. The storage management is executed via embedded HSM software.
