Linz, 14th of April 2006 – On 5 April 2006 some 200 visitors made their way to the Design Center in Linz to find out more about Fabasoft Version 6.1. In the What's New Briefing 6.1. Fabasoft experts presented in-depth information on the new version in 13 speeches and breakout sessions.
Innovations in template management, reporting, load balancing and many further new developments in the Fabasoft product family were presented at the event, held for the first time in this new, extended form. New tools and functionalities were also presented – such as the integrated spell checker, the electronic rucksack that makes the workstation mobile, plus new client and server technologies for comprehensive system monitoring and control.
The event boasted numerous highlights, such as the presentation of the new Fabasoft Windows Client, the integration of the Fabasoft software products in the Mindbreeze Enterprise Search architecture and the "Fabasoft Strategy 100" with Linux as an equally valuable alternative to the Microsoft Windows workstation. Visitors also welcomed the opportunity to relax on comfortable sofas in the Ask The Experts Area and put their own questions on a variety of subjects to the speakers.
