The e-Government project ELDORA, which is breaking new ground in Europe, is currently being rolled out in the Free State of Bavaria. What is known as the Bavarian standard is currently in use at six Bavarian departments, based on Fabasoft's eGov-Suite. Visitors to the Fabasoft stand can experience the extensive functionalities of Fabasoft eGov-Suite in the daily working environment live, demonstrated by employees of the Free State of Bavaria.

"IN the ELDORA project the acceleration of case processing times is a key benefit. At the same time the work of all the people involved is made highly flexible. The implementation of an electronic document management and workflow processing system is a key step in the e-Government initiative of the Free State of Bavaria. ELDORA, which is based on the Fabasoft eGov-Suite, marks the launch of a groundbreaking project for Europe. The establishment of electronic workflow processing will give an extra boost to business processes in Bavaria, enhancing Bavaria's attraction as a business location as a result.
Fabasoft eGov-Suite is currently in operation at six public departments in Bavaria: the Bavarian State Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts, the Bavarian State Ministry of Education and Culture, the Regional Department of Agriculture, the Government of Swabia, the Social Department's administration school and the Bavarian Central Office for Family and Social Affairs (youth department). The full scale of the project will see 100,000 users working with the Fabasoft eGov-Suite which is certified in accordance with DOMEA 2.0.
