Fabasoft opened a new IT service centre in the venerable centre of Munich, the Bavarian state capital, in the middle of December. The company is now represented through its own offices in three German cities: Frankfurt/Main, Berlin and Munich. The newly opened branch office is located in the Elisenhof office complex close to the main railway station.
Walter M. Schill, Managing Director of Fabasoft Germany explains: "With the newly opened branch office we have taken yet another step in our growth strategy. The local value-added factor and the secure location of Munich as an IT metropolis in central Europe were key criteria for us in the decision to open our own office in the Bavarian capital.
Among the guests were high-ranking representatives of the Bavarian State Ministry of Education and Culture, the Bavarian Administrative Court of Justice, the Regional Office of Agriculture, Munich Police Headquarters, the City of Munich and the State Ministry of Economics, Infrastructure, Transport and Technology.
It was an evening not only of weissbier tasting but also of informal business discussions. Guests discussed the next steps in current projects with the Fabasoft board in a relaxed atmosphere. There was also a lively exchange of thoughts between the individual authorities at the opening.
Fabasoft demonstrated "Bayern Standard 2.0" of Fabasoft eGov-Suite at the event. This is currently being rolled out throughout the entire Free State of Bavaria. New software products such as Fabasoft iArchiveExchange, the Fabasoft Operations Manager and Mindbreeze Enterprise Search captured the interest of the visitors.
